Siam University is 1 in 5 of the country's first private university, was established in 1965 as named "Siam Technic College" then was changed be "Siam Technic University" in 1986 then cut out the word "Technic" be "Siam University" till a day. The ordinary tauch only Diploma in Mechanic. Now there are many faculties and majors both in Thai and English programs total 50 syllabuses. Siam University has Faculty of Pharmacy's first private university, the course of 6 years.

Top 7: Payap University
The first private university in Northern Thailand. Payap University was established in 1974 at Muang, Chiangmai province. Origin is from the Protestant Christian came to disseminate the religion. The initiation name was "Payap Christian College" in 1971. Official opened to teach in 1974 in name "Payap College" with 8 disciplines, the Practical in Thailand, English, history, philosophy, religion, sociology of Music Arts - Anthropology, Personnel management and diploma nurses and health.
Subsequently approved by the Ministry of University College, was transferred to the University as "Payap University" in 1984.
