I will tell some history of Chulalongkorn University.as following
Chulalongkorn University is the first university in Thailand, that locate at Pathumwan, Bangkok.
That advented from "The government officials training school" that King Chulalongkorn graciously to be established within the Grand Palace in year 1899 and the royal permission to invite "Royal Sedan" to be the symbol of school. The operation of the school was constantly evolving into a sequence until March 26,1916, King Rama VI established to be the university and gave royal name as "Chulalongkorn University" for announcement Honor King Monument who was his father since year 1917 until today.
Chulalongkorn University has had the person who was taken the position of Commanders and Presidents total as 16 persons. The current President is Professor Pirom Kamolratanakul.
Chulalongkorn University has been ranked as one of the leading universities of the country, both in the arts and humanities, Engineering and Technology, Major Biomedicine Science and Social Sciences and also has been a very good standard of education in the Office for Standards and Quality Assessment. Moreover it is one of nine national research universities as well. In addition, students had the highest scores in the different faculties, the admission in higher education institutions with the central system and the system of the Institute of Medicine found that most of your admission to the University.
Chulalongkorn University is currently teaching as 19 faculties, in the Graduate School, college and institutions total as 506 courses, includes undergraduate 113 courses and graduate 393 courses, among the 87 international courses and English courses. Furthermore, the research institute has established within several universities to conduct research in various fields as well.
